Kristin Celano:

Kristin has over 20 years of dancing experience and has been teaching in the Baltimore area for over 10 years. She received extensive training in the art of dance at the Janette Brown Studio of Dance in the areas of ballet, pointe, tap, and jazz. Kristin has proudly earned her post-graduate teaching certification through the Dance Masters of America (DMA) Teachers' Training School. She is currently an active member of DMA, as well as a certified examiner of Chapter 17. She also holds certificates in Zumba and Zumba Gold.

Kristin has studied under many renowned teachers and performers and has received gold medals in dance competitions in the mid-Atlantic area. In 1997, she choreographed and performed in "Broadway '97" at The Catholic High School of Baltimore and was the captain of their dance team for two years. She then went on to coach, choreograph, and dance with the Villa Julie College Dance Team.

Most recently, Kristin taught at the Baltimore Dance Center where she was the captain of Baltimore DanceAttack, a professional hip-hop company. She is currently choreographing for and working with the Mercy High Dance Team. Kristin also holds an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education.

Karen Daniels:

Karen has over 35 years dancing experience and has been teaching in the Baltimore area for over 25 years. She has taught at conventions for DMA, Chapter 17 and Maryland Council of Dance. Growing up in Baltimore, Karen received solid dance training at the Janette Brown Studio of Dance and has had the opportunity to study with numerous teachers and performers all over the country and Canada.

Karen is a graduate of the DMA Teachers' Training School. She also holds certificates in Zumba and Zumba Gold. Additionally, Karen holds B.A, M.A., and M.S. degrees in Psychology and has taught psychology at the University of Baltimore, University of Delaware, Goucher College, and Harford Community College.

Karen has performed and competed in many venues, earning numerous gold and silver medals. She has also judged for Onstage America. Locally, she performed with a local theater group and choreographed productions of Godspell and Pippin.

She is proud to be a member of DMA for over 25 years and to have served on both the local and national boards, as well as many other committes and as a certified national examiner. Karen was recently elected 1st Vice President of Chapter 17 and is chairperson of the Miss Dance and Teen Miss Dance pageants.
